The Opportunity
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to be a key technical partner in winning and enabling complex 3D digital twin automation engagements for some of Adobe's largest enterprise customers! This includes marketing & communications agencies, CPG, Electronics, and Automotive companies. Joining the new Enterprise Solutions & Delivery (ESD) team within the Substance 3D Growth organization, this person will be a leading technical voice in pre‑sales, crafting how customers understand, evaluate, and ultimately commit to our solutions. They will also remain a key partner through post‑sales delivery, ensuring what was promised is achievable and that customer feedback flows back into our product roadmap. What You’ll Do
Lead technical discovery/qualification with prospective customers to understand their 3D production pipeline, business goals, and automation needs. Invent and present tailored solution architectures demonstrating how Substance 3D automation (on‑premise Python 3D APIs, custom integrations) addresses customer requirements. Build and deliver compelling demos, proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and prototypes using our APIs for key accounts – developing custom 3D workflows that showcase end‑to‑end capabilities. Work closely with Sales person and Technical Program Manager to translate customer requirements into clear, technically sound proposals. Set realistic expectations early in the sales cycle, anticipating delivery constraints and flagging risks before closing. Support customer‑facing presentations, acting as the technical authority in the room. Customer & Collaborator Engagement
Build positive relationships with technical and business partners at prospective and existing enterprise accounts. Act as a bridge between customer needs and Adobe’s product, engineering, and technical artist teams. Remain engaged post‑sale as a technical participant, supporting smooth handoff to the TPgM and maintaining continuity of the customer relationship (also contributing bringing feedback back to the team). What You Need to Succeed
5+ years of experience as a solutions architect or consultant, pre‑sales engineer, senior technical consulting or other relevant role. Deep hands‑on knowledge of 3D production pipelines in an enterprise context – including 3D data formats, rendering, and automation workflows. Ability to write production‑grade Python code contributing to automation pipelines, and to engage credibly with 3D technical artists and engineers. Ability to scope and compose technical solutions for complex, ambiguous customer problems – turning discovery into clear, executable architectures. Excellent communication skills across both technical and non‑technical audiences – equally comfortable whiteboarding with engineers and presenting to customer partners. Proactive, customer focused, positive mentality with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Team‑player state of mind – we are a globally distributed, multicultural bunch who want to succeed together! Equal Employment Opportunity
Adobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
