WSP is currently looking for a **Senior Civil Engineer** to join our Transportation Team in either the **Valhalla, NY** or **Troy, NY office** .
The candidate would lead project tasks or assist project managers with technical design, project coordination and team collaboration efforts for various transportation engineering projects in primarily the public sector. Tasks may include assistance with the research, conceptual development, design, and constructability of local road, highway, interstate, transmission, site development and utility and drainage system projects. Generates accurate and concise reports, calculations, drawings, and design support documentation. This position is best suited for a senior-level career transportation engineer who is seeking an opportunity to be a part of a growing organization that works collaboratively to provide innovative solutions for our clients with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.
**Your Impact**
+ Perform professional civil engineering work which includes development of 3D design models, calculations, sketches, plans, and construction cost estimates for various transportation improvement projects, including new/widened roadways, intersection improvements, bike and pedestrian facilities, and general site improvements.
+ Analyze data from surveys, GIS data, subsurface utility information, maps, geotechnical data, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction.
+ Assist with the development of technologies, modeling techniques, design requirements, and operating strategies to
