Position Type & Schedule
- Full-Time
- Schedule: 3-4 days per week based on provider preference
- Hours: Practice operates on extended hours (12-hour days); providers will have a mix of early and later shifts based on scheduling needs
- Weekend Requirement: Two Saturdays per month
Compensation & Benefits
- 90-day draw: $800 per day
- Compensation: 30% of collections up to $100K/month, 35% over $100K/month
- Earning potential: $500,000+ after year two (current associates producing ~$1.7M annually)
- W2 position
- CT license and malpractice covered for the first year
- Practice contributes $350/month toward medical insurance
- $1,500 annual CE reimbursement
- 401(k) (no match)
- Lab fees split 50/50
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and patient-focused General Dentist to join our prestigious, privately owned, fee-for-service multi-specialty practice. Our practice is a high-end, fully fee-for-service environment with a strong reputation for clinical excellence. With 17 operatories , each provider is supported by 2-3 operatories and multiple assistants daily , ensuring efficiency and productivity. We are a true multi-specialty practice with in-house pediatric dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery, creating a collaborative environment focused on comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Deliver high-quality restorative dentistry and comprehensive case management
- Perform procedures including crowns, bridges, and other general dentistry services
- Collaborate with in-house specialists to coordinate optimal patient care
- Perform additional procedures such as clear aligners, endodontics, or select periodontal procedures based on experience and patient needs
- Educate patients effectively to build trust and support case acceptance
- Contribute to practice growth by building and maintaining a strong patient base
Minimum Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active dental license in Connecticut (or ability to obtain)
- Current CPR certification
Experience Requirements:
- Completion of a General Practice Residency (GPR) required
- Strong clinical foundation with interest in comprehensive and restorative dentistry
