We are seeking a Senior Scheduler - Power Generation, Energy, Mining, Nuclear, and Infrastructure to support our growing team in Houston, TX. Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for engineering, procurement, and construction phases of major capital projects.
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather schedule input and ensure accurate activity sequencing.
  • Monitor schedule progress, perform critical path analysis, and identify potential risks or delays with recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Support the development of integrated master schedules and resource-loaded schedules in alignment with project execution plans.
  • Track and report schedule performance metrics, including earned value, float analysis, and key milestones.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports, schedule updates, and variance analyses to project stakeholders.
  • Interface with cost control and estimating functions to align schedule forecasts with project budgets and performance baselines.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide clear communication of schedule status to management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and client scheduling standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes and tools.

Qualifications / Requirements
To succeed in this role, you bring:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project scheduling for Power Generation, Energy, or Infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 required; experience with MS Project and other scheduling tools is an asset.
  • Deep understanding of EPC project execution, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, and project lifecycle management.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules for multi-discipline capital projects.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related project controls methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex schedule information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working within large owner/operator, EPC, or consulting environments preferred.
  • PMP or PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification is considered an asset.

Salary Range for Role $ 95,000 - $100,000
Compensation at PTAG varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
