Responsibilities:
* Technical knowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures.
* Demonstrates proficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department's radiology information system.
* Accurately interprets and follows physician's scanning instructions and prescription.
* Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CT images.
* Educates patient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure.
* Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program with ARRT Certification.
* Certification in CT is highly preferred. Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire.
* Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably with Philips experience.
* 3D Imaging experience highly preferred.
* Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
* Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within one month of hire date.
* Ability to work as a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficient team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently.
