JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing CT procedures to assist in disease diagnosis.
This position is a Safety Sensitive Position. The essential functions, physical demands, and mental competencies of this job require the employee maintain the ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner.
- Review images in the PAC system.
- Be able to identify abnormal abnormalities.
- Be able to assist the Radiologist in the interpretation of patient exams.
- Performs CT procedures as prescribed by a physician including positioning the patients for the proper view of the affected area; selects the appropriate scan images to be transferred to a PACS system.
- Obtains essential information from patients, medical records, and previous scans for clinical correlation; instructs patients about the proper physiological requirements for the procedure; helps patients
