**Shift:**

**Description:**
**Hours | Schedule:**
**12 hours per week**
**Every Saturday 7p-7a with additional yearly holiday rotation.**
**What you will do:**
+ Greet patients and explain procedures.Answer questions and instruct patient during procedures.Perform CT scan and teach other staff procedures according to established protocol.
+ Position patients for exam.Utilize positioning aids to assure precise view.
+ Determine correct scanning protocol and exposure factor for exam.Monitor image and modify imaging protocol to achieve optimum examination results, keeping dose reduction a priority.
+ Label scans appropriately and to review and submit studies in PACS.
+ Prepare contrast media and administer to patients.Interpret and follow Renal Prophylaxis Protocol.
+ Maintain inventory and perform minor equipment repairs or adjustments.Submit work orders for equipment repairs.
+ Maintain patient logs and CTDI reporting.
**What you will need:**
+ Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine.
+ Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Society of Nuclear Medicine.
+ CT experience preferred.
