In this role you will :
The CT / Radiologic Technologist will provide quality patient care and customer service. They will radiograph each patient with speed, efficiency and compassion following FOIs basic policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients utilizing existing radiologist devised protocols
- Provide excellent patient care & customer service to all patients being scanned
- Ability to work both independently and as a team-player.
- Must be flexible with schedule
- Film CT scans for surgery as requested by physicians
- Perform Weekly ACR mandated quality control on CT scanner
- Assist with image acquisition for ACR submissions
- Interact with radiologists when necessary regarding protocols & special applications
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintain ARRT License & Florida License by adhering to CEU responsibilities.
- Complete Daily Totals Sheet.
- Initial & verify charge tickets are matched to authorization & script.
- Report Statistics to CT/MRI supervisor.
- Submit peer review on a monthly basis.
- Work in Radiology Department when not CT scanning.
- Travel between facilities for X-ray.
- Work as early person or late person in X-ray.
- Work with Radiologist to perform CT portion of MRA's.
- Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
- All other duties as assigned.
About You:
- New Grads are welcome
- Must be ARRT certified
- Must be CT registered
- Must have current Florida license
- Must display excellent customer services skills and the ability to multi-task
- BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment
