Job specification
• Perform comprehensive age-specific admissions and ongoing assessments to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to implement and evaluate plans of care, revising as needed.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to optimize patient outcomes in cardiovascular surgical settings.
• Accurately administer treatments and medications, documenting in electronic medical records (EPIC).
Candidate requirements
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing from an accredited college or an approved program eligible for VA licensure exam.
• Current RN license (or eligibility) in Virginia.
• CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required depending on assignment.
