As an advisory body to the Board of Selectmen,the committee analyzes and evaluates recommendations from theComprehensive Water Resources Management Plan and develops a schedule ofimplementation of appropriate recommendations for consideration by theSelectmen.
A major component of the Committee's duties is public outreach and education regarding the various water management programs as they relate to the long-term protection of Acton's water resources.
