**How you'll make an impact in this role**
**Medication Dispensing and Distribution:** Ensure the accurate preparation and distribution of medications to patient care areas.
**Patient Profile Management:** Assist licensed pharmacists in the ongoing management and monitoring of patient medication profiles.
**Information and Education:** Provide essential information and education regarding medications to both medical personnel and patients.
**Controlled Substance Management (Direct Supervision Required):**
Maintain precise documentation for narcotics.
Ensure the proper distribution and control of all scheduled medications.
**Dosing and Administration (Direct Supervision Required):**
Verify the appropriate selection of medication doses.
Monitor correct medication administration.
**Compounding:** May be assigned to perform various medication compounding tasks.
**What minimum requirements you'll need**
Education:
+ High school diploma/GED required.
+ Enrolled in, and have successfully completed second year of, a professional Bachelor's of Science degree program in Pharmacy.
