Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer We're working with a leading insurance organisation currently expanding their engineering team with the addition of an experienced Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer. This position will focus on the development of modern cloud-native applications within a large-scale enterprise environment, with a strong emphasis on backend engineering and AWS serverless technologies. Responsibilities: Design, build and maintain scalable full stack applications within an AWS serverless environment Develop and enhance backend services using Java, Spring Boot and Node.js Build secure and high-performing APIs and microservices Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions across distributed systems Work closely with Product, QA and Engineering teams to deliver reliable software solutions Support engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, documentation and code reviews Troubleshoot and optimise application performance across production environments Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to UI-focused development where required Required Experience: 8+ years' experience in software engineering roles, must have insurance/financial experience Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot Strong hands-on development experience with Node.js Excellent experience working within AWS cloud environments, ideally serverless architectures Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices design Experience working within agile engineering teams and modern SDLC practices Strong communication skills and ability to work within collaborative environments Beneficial to have hands-on exposure to FE Angular Development Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.
