County Waste,a Waste Connections Company, is looking to add a Mechanic Apprenticeto our team inClifton Park, NY.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am start time

Pay:$23.00 per hour

• Assists experienced mechanics with vehicle maintenance and repairs, learning the trade under supervision. 
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and equipment
• Conductoil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and lubrication
• Assist with brakes inspections, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and other key components
• Identify potential issues and report necessary repairs to the lead mechanic
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with safetyregulations
• Assist with minor repairs and support the mechanic team as needed

What we need from you:

• Mechanical aptitude, a drive to learn and grow with a team. 
• Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Welding/fabrication experience, a major plus
