Beachborough School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive *IT Technician* to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career in IT, and would be particularly well suited to a *recent graduate* or someone with relevant technical experience.
Working closely with the IT Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day support of the school’s IT systems, helping to ensure a reliable and effective digital environment for staff and pupils.
*Key responsibilities include:*
* Providing first-line IT support to staff and pupils
* Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and AV equipment
* Managing helpdesk requests and responding in a timely manner
* Supporting the development and improvement of IT systems and services
* Maintaining accurate records of IT equipment and assets
* Assisting with system checks, backups, and general IT housekeeping
*About you:*
* Good working knowledge of IT systems (Windows environment desirable)
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Committed to working in line with safeguarding, data protection, and health & safety requirements
