What your day will look like:
* Lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) * Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes across production * Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures * Manage internal and external audits (ISO and customer-specific) * Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and corrective actions * Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement solutions to reduce defects and improve performance * Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to resolve quality issues * Supervise and mentor quality team members including inspectors and technicians * Develop and maintain quality documentation including control plans, PFMEAs, and work instructions * Interface with customers regarding quality concerns, audits, and corrective actions
What we are looking for:
* 5+ years of experience in a Quality leadership role within manufacturing * Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 experience is a plus) * Experience with core quality tools: SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D, Root Cause Analysis * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T * Experience leading audits and working directly with customers on quality issues * Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team * Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred
