We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to manage the overnight inpatient and operative needs of our surgical patients. Working in collaboration with, and under the supervision of, an attending physician, you will be a key member of our team, ensuring the highest quality of care for a diverse patient population.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical examinations.Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform patient care plans.Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.Provide therapeutic interventions and assist in intraoperative procedures.Educate and counsel patients and their families on disease prevention and management.Maintain a safe, just, and collaborative work environment.Requirements:Successful completion of an approved physician assistant program, accredited by the Accreditation and Review Committee for Physician Assistants (ARC-PA) or other NCCPA certification examination qualifying accrediting agency.Maintenance of a minimum of 100 hours of CME in accordance with NCCPA regulations every 2 yearsKnowledge, Education and Skills Preferred:
2 years of surgery experience is preferred however new graduates are considered.Preferred robotic training Required Certification/Licensing: New Jersey State Physician Assistant CertificationBasic Cardiac Life Support Certification requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support CertificationNew Jersey CDS licenseFederal DEA licenseCOMPENSATION:Minimum Base Salary: $148,803.20HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
