Respiratory Care Prac-RRT Sign On Bonus Potential: Up to $10,000 SINAI HOSPITAL RESPIRATORY THERAPY Full-time w/Weekend Commitment - Night shift - 7:00pm-7:30am ALLIED HEALTH Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus, Full Time, Day or Night Shift Available - Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD Join Sinai Hospital's Respiratory Care Services team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and work at the largest community hospital in Maryland. Sinai is a Level II Trauma Center and academic medical center within the LifeBridge Health system. Whether you're an experienced RRT or a CRT advancing your credentials, you'll practice full-scope respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that invests in its clinicians through tuition reimbursement, advanced technology, and a clear path for career growth. Pursue certifications in ECMO, adult critical care, neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, and pulmonary function testing Step into a preceptor role and help shape the next generation of respiratory therapists
What You'll Do as a Respiratory Therapist Administer therapeutic gases, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, and the full range of respiratory treatments Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertions, mini-BALs, chest physiotherapy, and CPR Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and adjust therapy based on clinical response Respond to rapid response and code events across ICU, Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and inpatient units Collaborate with pulmonologists, intensivists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the medical record
Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor's preferred Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required within 1 year of hire 1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) working toward RRT credentialing will be considered Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first approach to patient care
