Primary Responsibilities:
- Track parts inventory, purchasing, and part breakdowns, coordinating with the service department on part delivery schedules.
- Sales: Processing transactions for parts and accessories, taking phone orders, and providing price quotes.
- Inventory management, receiving new merchandise, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Coordinating parts inventory from manufacturers and communicating with vendors for company and customer owned equipment.
- Greeting customers, helping them identify the correct parts, and answering questions.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of auto parts and how they work is crucial.
- Attention to detail, Accuracy is critical when identifying parts, placing orders.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, such as sales, inventory, and special orders, is important.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Customer service: The ability to be friendly, professional, and helpful is essential for a good customer experience.
