This is a unique role for a CDL A driver based in Indianapolis, reporting to Columbus, OH management. The driver will operate independently and must stay on top of communication without being chased. This position involves hands-on, touch freight work, requiring the manual unloading of steel at job sites using bars and basic tools. Candidates should be comfortable working outside in all conditions and managing material safely.

• Pay Rate: $30 per hour plus overtime
• Shift: 1st shift
• Home Daily

• Route Type: Local
• Equipment: 36’ gooseneck pulled with a single axle day cab
• Handling: Heavy touch freight - Manual unloading of steel

• Handle deliveries in the Indianapolis market
• Coordinate with Columbus on loads and priorities
• Occasional trips to Columbus and Cincinnati for loading and support
• Prioritize safety and align with the company's safety culture
• Communicate effectively about delays, job site problems, and load issues

• 6-12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• CDL A license
• Solid flatbed experience (securement and unloading) is a plus
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
