*About the team*
We’re building AI agents that do real work for personal injury law firms — ingesting medical records, building chronologies, calculating damages, drafting demand letters, and pushing cases toward settlement. These aren’t templates. They’re agents that integrate into firm case management systems, make decisions, and operate alongside paralegals, demand writers, and attorneys. We move fast: develop and launch quality features, observe real firms using them on real cases, aggressively evolve and enhance.
*About the role*
You’ll own both the product personal injury firms use today and the platform we’re building for tomorrow. This means shipping features that drive growth this quarter while architecting the systems that will power Demandpro for years to come. You’re building products that firms actually love using — consumer-grade experiences for an industry that’s lived in Word templates and PDF redlines for too long.
Here’s what makes this role different: At Demandpro, product managers are builders. You’ll use AI tools — Claude, Cursor, LLMs — to prototype UIs, write code, and ship features alongside engineers. We don’t believe you need a CS degree to build. We believe you need curiosity, agency, and a willingness to learn. If you can articulate what needs to exist, AI can help you build it. This is the new SDLC, and we’re pioneering it together for the legal industry.
This position is remote (U.S.-based), with occasional travel to customer firms and team on-sites.
*The basics*
* *Title: *Product Manager
* *Reports to: *CEO
* *Location: *Remote, U.S.-based (occasional travel for customer visits and on-sites)
*In this role, you will:*
* *Own strategy end-to-end — *Define what we build and why, from the demand-writer experience our users touch every day to the platform infrastructure underneath it.
* *Build, don’t just spec — *Use AI tools to prototype, write code, and ship alongside engineers. PMs here are builders as well as guides for engineering with a compelling product vision.
* *Spend time with customers — *Sit with paralegals, demand writers, and managing partners. Watch how they actually move a case from intake to demand to settlement, and find what’s missing.
* *Ship with speed — *Get features in front of firms fast, learn from real case-level usage, iterate based on data.
* *Make company-level decisions — *Architecture choices, model strategy, partnership and integration priorities (case management systems, e-signing, medical record providers) that affect how every team builds.
* *Design for scale — *Build systems, patterns, and platforms — prompts, evals, document pipelines, agent tooling — that other product teams will leverage.
*You might thrive in this role if you:*
* *High agency — *You see what needs to happen and make it happen. You don’t wait for permission.
* *Builder mindset — *You’ve shipped products that customers love. You’re not afraid to get into the weeds.
* *Technically curious — *You may not be an engineer, but you understand systems, ask technical questions, and want to learn how things work — including how LLMs and agent systems actually behave.
* *Speed matters to you — *You’d rather ship and learn than perfect in isolation.
* *Customer-obsessed — *You believe great products come from understanding real workflows (in our case, how a paralegal actually drafts a demand at 7pm on a Tuesday), not committee meetings.
* *Learning trajectory — *You’re excited about using AI to build. You see this as the future of product work.
*What sets you apart:*
* Built 0→1 products that scaled to real customer adoption.
* Experience with AI agents, LLMs, or human-in-the-loop systems.
* You’ve used AI tools (Claude, Cursor) to build prototypes or ship code.
* Startup or founder experience — you’ve worn multiple hats and figured it out.
* Vertical SaaS, legal tech, or professional-services product experience (personal injury, mass tort, plaintiff-side firms a bonus).
* Technical background (can read/write GET LANGUAGES FROM MATTP) is a plus but not required.
*Why you’ll love working here:*
