A career as a Senior Analyst Client Onboarding at National Bank Trust (NBT) means playing a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience by leading the seamless integration of new clients and portfolio managers into the Bank’s operational ecosystem. You will help set and uphold high standards of excellence while supporting complex client transitions with precision, rigour, and professionalism.

Your Role

As a Senior Analyst Client Onboarding, you will:

  • Serve a diverse clientele, including institutional clients and portfolio managers, across areas such as securities custody, institutional asset management, pension plans, and exchange‑traded funds (ETFs)
  • Support NBT clients through significant life events, such as onboarding, portfolio manager transitions, and client departures
  • Participate in client integrations and change initiatives, collaborating closely with all stakeholders-including clients, portfolio managers, account managers, and operational teams
  • Work in partnership with operational teams to ensure flawless execution of activities and deliver a consistently top‑tier client experience
  • Assist team members with planning, coordination, and deadline management to ensure smooth and timely delivery
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement, documentation, and standardisation of team processes
  • Support training initiatives and act as a subject‑matter resource, helping colleagues deepen their expertise and achieve their professional objectives
  • Play an active role in problem‑solving, proposing pragmatic and effective solutions to meet business and client needs

Your Team

Within the National Bank Trust sector, you will join a large, high ‑ performing team of approximately 150 colleagues and report to the Director - Client and Portfolio Manager Integration. Our team distinguishes itself through its agility, collaboration, and personalised approach to client service.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience in the financial sector working with clients and back office support
  • Fundamental knowledge of the securities industry including operations and settlements
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Strong professional judgment, autonomy, and problem ‑ solving skills
  • Ability to act as a subject ‑ matter expert and provide advisory support to internal partners
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools; experience using Copilot is an asset
