Landmark AOS is SAIC's large Prime SETA program supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition and sustainment of systems across the full end to end lifecycle. As the EDAP Systems Engineer, you will review system architectures and provide technical insight for impacts to the organization system capabilities, provide systems engineering process development and management oversight, and support identification of risks, issues and opportunities. You will also work the entire array of Systems Engineering disciplines (Schedules, Configuration Management, Requirements, Risk etc.,) across a myriad of cloud-based software development activities. Responsibilities to include:
Develop detailed Systems Engineering products to include integration, verification, validation and test processes, requirements tracing, short term and long term schedules and roadmaps.
Support the development of MBSE plans and procedures for current and future programs.
Executes enterprise system activities, supports system readiness activities to communicate/collaborate with stakeholders, and provides status and recommendations in support of senior leadership.
Identifies, analyzes, defines, stakeholders need to translate them into technical or operational requirements and coordinates requirements management process with acquisition offices.
Decompose documentation to develop and maintain system architecture; analyze system
and functional requirements to capture mission needs, develop new requirements, and identify risks in support of Significant Ground Capabilities (SGCs).
Help to guide the direction of all risks, opportunities, and issues that impact the corporate level decisions.
Supports the Development of cross program system engineering standards for the Enterprise Management Framework.
Integrate across the organization to provide system engineering insight to the mission integrators and capability managers.
Reviews and provides technical evaluations of key System Engineering documents.
Develops and reviews technical assessments and presentations for senior leadership reviews.
Develops, prepares, and delivers documentation and coordinates execution of all major System Engineering Reviews for the Enterprise. QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree. Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. Experience directly supporting a System Engineering organization and a demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering and Acquisition processes. Experience & knowledge of the system engineering process, to include risk and opportunity management, requirements management, configuration management, and cross program integration of system engineering challenges.Experience supporting Agile software development methods (Scrum, SAFe).Strong IV&V Testing (Independent Verification and Validation) experience. Working knowledge of systems engineering documentation to include concepts of operations, systems requirements documents, interface control documents, and verification and test.
Experience with process improvement and metric development initiatives.
Experience supporting the IC/DoD.
Strong oral and written communications to support interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors at all levels on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between all organizations within a high-tempo environment.
