The selected candidate will be a member of a team providing software support to the US ARMY.Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying software solutions that meet project requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues with guidance from senior engineers.
Participate in code reviews to improve overall quality and incorporate feedback into your work.
Contribute to documentation for technical processes, features, or solutions.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum workflows, ensuring timely delivery of tasks. QualificationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred; degrees in Computer Information Systems or related fields are also considered. Six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).Clearance Requirements:Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance; ship required.Required Skills:Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).Understanding of basic data structures (e.g., arrays, linked lists) and algorithms.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.Exposure to software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.SAIC is a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets.
