Location:
Midtown Atlanta. This role is heavily focused on tactical project execution, governance, compliance tracking, documentation, project controls, and driving accountability across technical teams. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing end-to-end application delivery projects while maintaining detailed project schedules, baselines, risks, dependencies, approvals, and executive visibility. This person must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where strong follow-through, proactive escalation, operational discipline, and compliance alignment are critical. Responsibilities • Manage multiple end-to-end technical projects including application implementations, software deployments, enhancements, and infrastructure initiatives • Build and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project, Project Online, and Planner Premium • Maintain project baselines, dependencies, milestones, critical path items, governance checkpoints, and project tracking artifacts • Drive project timelines aggressively and escalate risks, blockers, compliance concerns, and missed deliverables early • Coordinate cross-functional technical teams including development, QA, infrastructure, compliance, business stakeholders, vendors, and customer-facing groups • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, sprint coordination, Kanban activities, and project follow-up actions • Maintain RAID logs, project documentation, approvals, meeting notes, action items, audit documentation, and change tracking • Ensure project deliverables, risks, dependencies, approvals, and decisions are properly documented, archived, and visible to leadership • Work within Agile delivery environments while maintaining structured project governance and compliance processes • Utilize Jira, ServiceNow, Kanban boards, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Project, Project Online, and Planner Premium for project tracking and reporting • Create dashboards, reporting, metrics, and project visibility materials for management and stakeholders • Support customer-facing communications, project updates, issue management, escalation coordination, and stakeholder alignment • Reinforce project management standards, documentation quality, operational discipline, and compliance best practices Required Qualifications • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience managing application delivery or software implementation projects • Strong experience with Microsoft Project, Project Online, Planner Premium, and enterprise project tracking tools • Experience managing detailed project schedules, baselines, dependencies, governance checkpoints, and project tracking • Strong experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Kanban boards, Agile ticket management, and hybrid Agile environments • Experience supporting compliance-driven project processes and documentation standards • Strong documentation, organization, and follow-through skills • Experience escalating risks and driving accountability across technical teams • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal oversight • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline Preferred Qualifications • Experience within PMO or governance-driven environments • Experience with software implementation, infrastructure, or enterprise application projects • Experience supporting customer-facing or client-facing technical projects • Experience with compliance, audit readiness, or regulated environments • GIS project experience is a plus • PMP, Scrum, or related certifications are a plus Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K if located in GA or CA ABOUT ESG CONSULTING: ESG Consulting is an award-winning national provider of diversified information technology consulting services to Fortune 1000, public sector entities, and emerging growth firms nationwide.
