Responsibilities
* Create and update quality control protocols, ensuring they are effectively communicated and followed throughout the production process. * Observe the printing process from start to finish, identifying potential issues, and ensuring adherence to established standards and customer requirements. * Conduct and document all QA/QC, safety, OSHA and ISO related trainings as defined in the current year training plan for all employees. Create training plan for following years. * Prepare for the annual external ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SQF Audits * Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and preventing recurrence. * Create, maintain and update all SOP's for applicability to current operations, ISO standards, OSHA requirements and customer requirements. * Collect, track, and analyze quality data to identify trends, pinpoint root causes of quality problems, and implement corrective actions. * Communicate quality performance to management, providing feedback to production staff, and interacting with customers to address quality concerns. * Train employees on quality control procedures, providing guidance on best practices, and fostering a culture of quality.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance practices, including compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving to identify quality trends and implement corrective actions. * Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong organizational and communication skills. * Familiarity with packaging/printing production processes. * Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience is preferred. * Experience in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
