Position OverviewThe Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that support:
- Gross motor development
- Strength, balance, and coordination
- Functional mobility
- Confidence and independence in daily activities
Our sessions are active, hands-on, and engaging. You'll spend your days on the floor, in the gym, on swings, on mats, celebrating milestones big and small. You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and supported in developing your clinical reasoning and treatment skills.

- Valid Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Because our work is active and child-centered, you must be able to:
- Kneel, sit (on a chair or floor), and stand with ease
- Transition quickly between floor and standing positions
- Lift up to 50 pounds independently
- Walk up to one mile
- Engage in running, jumping, climbing, swinging, and floor-based play
- Safely support children on therapeutic equipment
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model

Employment Details
Full-Time Position: 35 hours per week
Compensation: Negotiable and based on experience, licensure, performance, and commitment to the position.
