Implementation & QA Specialist
Holley Performance Brands is the powerhouse behind some of the most iconic names in automotive performance. For over a century, we've fueled the passion of car and truck enthusiasts with innovative products, legendary brands, and a commitment to performance. From the racetrack to the street, we're driven by a shared love for speed, power, and pushing what's possible — and we're building the next generation of digital experiences to match that same energy. At Holley Performance Brands, our Customer Experience Center of Excellence team is shaping the future of Holley's 360° digital retail experience. We help customers connect with the right products across Holley's brands, stores, distributors, and partners. Our goal is simple — create personalized, data-driven experiences that build lasting relationships between brands and their customers. We are looking for a detail-obsessed and technically proficient Implementation & QA Specialist to join our Performance Marketing team. This role is the technical backbone of how we track, measure, and validate the data that powers every paid media and marketing decision we make. Without clean implementation and rigorous quality assurance, attribution breaks, optimization signals mislead, and reporting becomes unreliable — this position exists to ensure none of that happens. You will own the implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of all marketing tags, pixels, conversion events, and tracking infrastructure across our digital properties, working at the intersection of marketing, analytics, and development to guarantee every campaign is measured accurately from day one. Key Responsibilities
Tracking Implementation: Own end-to-end implementation of marketing tags, pixels, and tracking scripts across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, programmatic platforms, and affiliate networks. Manage and maintain the tag management system (primarily Google Tag Manager or Tealium) — organizing, documenting, version-controlling, and ensuring correct firing. Implement and maintain conversion tracking across platforms, correctly defining and mapping macro/micro events and passing accurate data. Configure and maintain the GA4 data layer in collaboration with development, capturing all relevant user interactions and eCommerce events. Set up server-side tagging where applicable to support first-party data strategies and reduce browser-based tracking risks. Establish and enforce UTM tagging standards and governance across all campaigns for consistent traffic source labeling and attribution. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough pre-launch QA on campaigns, landing pages, and site updates — nothing goes live without clean sign-off. Build and maintain QA checklists and protocols covering tag firing, data layer integrity, event accuracy, audience population, and cross-device tracking. Use debugging tools (Google Tag Assistant, Meta Pixel Helper, Charles Proxy, browser dev tools) to diagnose and resolve tracking issues quickly. Perform regular full-stack audits to identify broken tags, duplicates, discrepancies, or coverage gaps — and drive remediation. Validate data consistency between ad platforms, internal analytics, CRM, and data warehouse; investigate and resolve variances. Attribution & Measurement Support: Support setup and validation of incrementality tests, media mix models, and platform conversion lift studies. Assist in configuring marketing attribution models and ensuring touchpoint data supports multi-touch analysis. Partner with analytics to maintain clean data flow from platforms into the warehouse and structured campaign taxonomy for granular reporting. Cross-functional Collaboration & Governance Work closely with paid media to understand upcoming launches, platform tests, and experiments requiring tracking setup/validation. Partner with development on data layer changes, server-side solutions, and consent management updates. Serve as the internal go-to expert on tracking — troubleshooting misfires, explaining discrepancies, onboarding new platforms. Maintain comprehensive documentation: master tag inventory, data layer specs, UTM guides, QA protocols. Produce regular tracking health reports to build confidence in data reliability across performance marketing and analytics. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, Psychology, Computer Science or a related field but not required. Experience
2–4 years in marketing implementation, tracking, tag management, or QA — in-house or at a digital marketing agency. Hands-on experience implementing pixels/tags across major platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, programmatic). Experience in automotive, DTC eCommerce, or performance marketing environments is a plus. Skills
Deep expertise with Google Tag Manager (custom triggers, variables, data layer configuration, debugging). Solid understanding of GA4 event tracking, eCommerce data layers, and GA4 implementation model. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript — able to read/edit scripts, configure custom tags, and troubleshoot firing issues. Familiarity with browser privacy changes (ITP, third-party cookie deprecation, consent mode) and their impact on tracking. Strong analytical mindset and methodical approach to diagnosing/resolving data quality issues. Excellent documentation and organizational habits — leaving systems cleaner and better documented. Preferred Skills
Experience with server-side tagging (GTM server-side, Segment, etc.). Familiarity with Consent Management Platforms (OneTrust, Cookiebot) and consent mode integration. Proficiency with advanced debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Postman). Exposure to data warehouse environments and marketing data pipelines. Why Join Us
Opportunity to own critical tracking infrastructure during Holley's DTC growth and digital transformation. Collaborate with a passionate, execution-focused team that values precision, reliability, and measurable impact. Competitive salary and benefits package with flexible/hybrid working options. Contribute to Holley Performance Brands, a leader in the performance aftermarket industry. Environment that rewards technical rigor, obsessive attention to detail, and the ability to keep data trustworthy in complexity.
