As a CNA you will

• Assist residents with daily living skills such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist residents with mobility and transferring
• Assist residents with meals and feeding
• Provide a loving environment for residents to feel valued
• Document in residents charts daily
• Assist other aides in providing a safe and clean environment for residents and staff

In the class you will learn essential skills such as:

• Assisting in transporting patients in wheelchairs
• Assisting with turning and positioning
• Bathing
• Bed making
• Catheter care
• Dressing
• Infection control and safety awareness
• Keeping resident belongings neat and organized
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Nourishment
• Range of motion exercises
• Toileting

Following the class, you will have the opportunity for full-time or part-time employment.
