Phase 1: Learn the basics of the BDR role: prospecting, understanding the market, creating opportunities, exchanges with decision-makers.
Phase 2: Develop your leadership: as a BDR, take on cross-functional responsibilities such as recruitment, coaching new members, training animation, and project management.
Phase 3: Specialize: focus either on prospecting large accounts (more complex and strategic) or on SMEs, conducting discovery meetings and product demonstrations.
This progression within the BDR role will allow you to develop comprehensive sales skills that will prepare you for future internal mobility as an Account Executive or Inbound Sales.
