Overview
A centralized accounting team supporting multiple locations across North America is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with invoice processing and data accuracy. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career looking to gain hands-on experience in a high-volume, structured environment.
This position offers exposure to accounts payable processes within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and code incoming invoices for multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and proper classification
- Process high volumes of invoice data while maintaining quality and meeting daily production targets
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or exceptions for further review and resolution
- Support internal teams by ensuring timely and accurate invoice handling
- Maintain organized records and documentation within the accounting system
- Communicate with internal partners to resolve basic invoice-related questions
- 6+ months of experience in data entry, accounts payable, or accounting support
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts and invoice processing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow processes and work within a team environment
