About the Role:
A growing company in the City of Industry is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments and apply them to accounts
- Generate and distribute invoices
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments
- Reconcile AR ledger and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate and organized records
- 1-2 years of AR or general accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field a plus
