We seek a hands-on Network Engineer with proven expertise in configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure for Calabasas office. Ideal candidates possess a strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, and can effectively diagnose issues such as packet loss, congestion, and performance degradation. Experience with both Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices is essential. The ability to optimize network performance and provide innovative solutions is highly valued.

Networking Specialist Responsibilities:
* Design, deploy, and operate L2/L3 networks: leaf/spine (ECMP), MLAG/vPC, LACP, VLAN/VRF segmentation, jumbo MTU.
* Roll out observability (SNMP/telemetry, sFlow/NetFlow, Prometheus/Grafana) and capacity/SLA dashboards.
* Write runbooks; lead incident response; perform RCAs and preventive improvements.
* Work with other teams on traffic patterns (north–south vs east–west) and performance testing.
* Implement and tune BGP (dual‑ISP eBGP; iBGP/OSPF internally) with BFD, graceful restart, and sane policy.
* Stand up and maintain 100/200/400G switching, including QSFP‑DD/QSFP56 breakouts and optics.
* Build automation for configs and changes (Ansible/Terraform/Git workflows); deploy golden configs and CI guardrails.
* Clear documentation and cross‑team communication
* Linux networking basics and performance tools (iperf3, ping -M do for jumbo testing, ethtool/tc).
* Analyzing workflow and security requirements and establishing the network.
* Evaluating network performance issues and installing and testing equipment, connections, and firewalls.
* Defining the policies and procedures for the network.
* Monitoring and analyzing the network and troubleshooting any problems.
* Fine-tuning the network to enhance the performance for users.
* Implementing, monitoring, and evaluating security protocols.
* Testing, evaluating, and installing network enhancements to regularly update the network.
* Keeping accurate documentation and records on the network as a whole.
Networking Specialist Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in computer science, network technology, software engineering, information security, or a related field.
* Certification in networking may be advantageous.
* Proven work experience.
* Strong working knowledge of access, administration, application server, archival, and configuration management software.
* Excellent technical and nontechnical communication skills.
* The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good reasoning and decision-making skills.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
* Experience with Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
Commute to Calabasas Office is a MUST!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
