Full-Time | Base + Commission | Growth-focused infrastructure manufacturer

A well-established and growing manufacturer in the stormwater and environmental solutions space is hiring a Sales Engineer to support and expand business across the Houston region. This is a consultative, field-based role focused on technical project support, specification influence, and relationship development with engineers, contractors, distributors, and municipal stakeholders.

The organization is known for innovative stormwater compliance solutions used across civil construction and infrastructure projects. This position offers autonomy, visible impact, and the opportunity to become a trusted technical resource in a high-growth market.

Role Highlights:
  • Support and grow the Houston territory through consultative, solution-based engagement
  • Work directly with civil engineers, contractors, and municipalities to support design and project planning
  • Influence specifications and early-stage project decisions through technical education and jobsite support
  • Deliver Lunch-and-Learn presentations and product trainings for engineering and contractor groups
  • Partner with distributors to drive adoption, quoting activity, and account growth
  • Represent the company at trade shows and regional industry events
  • Maintain CRM activity, forecasting, and pipeline visibility
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams to support submittals, quoting, and execution
Qualifications:
  • 27+ years of experience in technical sales, applications, project support, or civil infrastructure business development
  • Stormwater, erosion control, drainage, civil construction, or infrastructure product experience preferred
  • Ability to present technical concepts clearly to engineers and field teams
  • Comfortable with regular local travel and customer-facing field activity
  • Experience working with distribution and contractor networks is a plus
  • Self-directed, organized, and process-driven
