Spectrum by Watchfire is seeking an experienced Inside Sales & Operations Manager to lead and support our Texas inside sales team. This role is based full-time at our Houston facility and plays a critical role in driving proposal accuracy, turnaround time, and overall sales efficiency. The Inside Sales & Operations Manager will directly manage Inside Sales Representatives while also working alongside the team to improve processes, throughput, and accountability. This position partners closely with Outside Sales, Operations, and Leadership to support continued growth across K-12, Municipal, and Parks & Recreation markets. Responsibilities Manage and lead the Texas Inside Sales team, providing day-to-day direction, coaching, and performance management. Actively support Inside Sales Representatives by assisting with quotes, proposals, and workload balancing during peak periods. Drive improvements in proposal turnaround times, accuracy, and consistency. Oversee sales reporting, including bookings reports, commission verification, and new construction tracking. Run and maintain standard installation costing spreadsheets and reporting tools. Monitor backlog reports and coordinate with Accounting and Order Entry to maintain data accuracy. Approve timecards, PTO requests, and support HR-related employee matters for the Inside Sales team. Coordinate trade show logistics, scheduling, and staffing for Texas-based events. Serve as the primary point of contact for Inside Sales operations questions from Outside Sales and leadership. Partner regularly with Marketing, Operations, and Project Management on cross-functional initiatives. Qualifications/Skills: Strong leadership experience managing inside sales or sales support teams. Construction industry experience, including RFPs, plans, specifications, and submittals. High level of proficiency with Excel and sales reporting tools. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Education and Licensing Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. *Watchfire is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
