You'll manage projects, maintain system performance, ensure security compliance, and partner with teams to align technology with business goals. This is not a delegating role. The ideal candidate enjoys being in the details, solving problems, and keeping systems running smoothly every day. ──────────────────────────── What You'll Do Leadership & Team Management • Lead and direct one direct report (small team) • Assign and prioritize tasks based on skill set and workload • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for your direct report • Provide coaching and support your teammate's professional development • Report directly to business ownership on all IT operations, projects, and incidents Infrastructure & Systems • Manage virtualized server environment — installation, patching, and troubleshooting end-to-end • Create, monitor, and verify backup jobs including immutable on-premises and cloud targets; investigate incidents and take corrective action • Maintain endpoint protection, email filtering, and intrusion detection tooling Cloud Infrastructure • Administer cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure highly preferred) • Support hybrid identity and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments IT Operations, Projects & Vendor Management • Own and execute IT projects from scoping to delivery • Build, maintain, and test the disaster recovery plan;
