Join a dynamic energy provider dedicated to sustainable solutions in the UK. We seek enthusiastic and resourceful Frontend Developers at mid to senior levels who are passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences. Initially it will be a three-month rolling contract but there is potential for it to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with one day a week being based in their London office. It is a full-time role, 40 hours per week. If this role feels right, send us your CV. Accountabilities: * Play a key role in building responsive, accessible, and scalable web applications. * Develop and maintain features using modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React. * Collaborate closely within a cross-functional agile team that includes backend engineers, designers, and product managers. * Translate design mockups and prototypes into pixel-perfect, performant user interfaces. * Ensure code quality through practices such as code reviews, testing, and continuous integration. * Contribute to discussions on UI/UX improvements and technical feasibility. * Optimize applications for speed and scalability. * Integrate with APIs and work with backend engineers to shape data interfaces. Knowledge and Skills: * Demonstrated expertise as a Mid or Senior Frontend Developer. * Strong proficiency in Typescript. * Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.). * Familiarity with design systems and component libraries such as Storybook or Tailwind. * Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL integration. * Proficiency with version control systems like Git. * Understanding of frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress). * Appreciation for clean, maintainable code and best practices such as TDD and code reviews. * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. * A keen eye for detail, paired with a passion for delivering polished and user-friendly experiences.
