-Conduct full safety screens on patients prior to scans to ensure all safety measures are met and patients are safe to scan.
- Perform diagnostic MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during the scan
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
-Collaborate with team and management to build new protocols and enhance service lines.
*Skills*
-Strong understanding of physiology to accurately interpret images and identify abnormalities
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise positioning of patients and capture of necessary images
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation during the procedure
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ability to implement them in the workplace
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment
*Requirements*
-ARRT certification
-Hands on experience in the field of MRI
