Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Required Skills/Experience: Adult critical care. ER. Trauma. Draeger, Evita XL, LTV, Zoll. Community Hospital Experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU experience preferred. Bronchoscopes. Viasys Vela. Neonate and infant experience preferred. Teaching Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. Parking Cost: Facility Paid

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends required. No call required. Flexible contract hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks. Traveler can be called off for 1 shift per 2 week period.

5 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
