Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers.
What You Will Do
- Lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration and mission readiness.
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and ensure system reliability.
- Design and implement test plans, procedures, and verification documentation for both simulated and operational environments.
- Develop integration documentation, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Execute system-level testing and analyze results to validate performance and functionality.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating operational impact and effectiveness.
- Conduct trade studies and present findings to stakeholders to support technical decision-making.
- Perform statistical and numerical analysis of test data to confirm system performance and compliance.
- Present technical findings and solutions to internal leadership and external customers.
- Travel is needed to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor locations, and customer environments.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math or other related engineering disciplines and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with integration and testing of missile subassemblies
- Experience with hardware qualification and ATP
- Experience developing and conducting milestone meetings (i.e. Consent to Build, Test Readiness Review, Consent to Ship)
- Experience leading teams
- Experience in Earn Value Management System (EMVS) and Cost
