Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a joyful learning environment? At Kentish Town Day Nursery & Preschool , we provide a bright and welcoming space for children aged 3 months to 5 years to grow, play, and discover the joy of learning. Located on Ryland Road, just off Prince of Wales Road, our charming nursery features light-filled rooms and a lovely garden where children can safely explore nature and build friendships.

We are excited to invite a Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £27,206 per annum for 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm . Please note that this is a year-round role, as our nursery operates throughout the year.

Your Role as Nursery Practitioner

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that support each child's unique learning and development.
  • Collaborate with your team, demonstrating a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
  • Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety matters to management.
  • Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification: Essential.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential.
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS: Desirable.
