Allied / Tech - Medical Assistant

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours. Start date: 05/18/2026, end date: 08/17/2026, duration: 13 weeks.

Position/Specialty: CNA Acute Care Med Surg. Start date: Ratios: 1:10. Years of experience required: 1. Special requirements: Must have Acute Care work experience in the last 3 years. First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend required: Every other weekend. Required certifications: BLS, IL license. Floating required: Floating to other units. RTO restrictions: 7 days max.

Skills: Acute care, assist with ambulation, assist with feeding patient, assist with turning and repositioning, bed shampoo, change linens (occupied, unoccupied), complete bed bath, pressure injury prevention, foot care, urine/stool incontinence care, mouth care, perineal care male/female, shave patient, shower assistance, skin care, oxygen tanks, pulse oximetry, donning and removing PPE, isolation precautions/PPE, glucose point of care testing, obtain blood pressure, including orthostatic, obtain patient respirations, obtain pulse (radial), obtain temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, tympanic), abnormal/normal vital sign parameters (adult and pediatric), safe patient transfers, reporting change in patient condition.
