We are seeking a Lead Field Technician with strong IT infrastructure deployment experience to support a dedicated customer across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role focused on rack & stack installations, system configuration, and network integration in field environments.
You will lead deployments, support field teams, and act as the primary technical expert onsite. This role requires frequent travel (50–75%), including international projects.
What You’ll Do
* Lead rack & stack installations (servers, network gear, edge devices)
* Perform cabling, power setup, and hardware integration including experience running and terminating CAT5/6 cables
* Configure systems, validate connectivity, and support commissioning
* Troubleshoot hardware, network, and system issues in the field
* Serve as L2/L3 escalation point for complex technical problems
* Support multi-site deployments across the U.S. and internationally
* Ensure installations meet Technician and quality standards
* Work directly with a dedicated customer onsite
* Mentor field technicians and junior Technicians
* Document configurations, installations, and issues
What You Bring
* 5+ years of field engineering or IT infrastructure deployment experience
* Hands-on experience with:
* Rack & stack installations
* Structured cabling
* System configuration and integration
* Strong networking fundamentals (IP, switching, troubleshooting)
* Experience working in customer-facing environments
* Ability to lead deployments and guide field teams
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
* Experience with large-scale or multi-site rollouts
* Familiarity with IoT, digital display, or building automation systems
* Experience in SLA-driven service environments
Travel Requirements
* 50–75% travel required
* Domestic and international travel
* Ability to work onsite with customers for extended periods

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
