This is a hands on role where you have an opportunity to take a new product right through the product development lifecycle from prototype through to product launch and ultimately sales.
This will be an upgrade from an existing product offering and customers are already asking when they can benefit from the new technology our client is proposing. You will steer this product from prototype to product launch and beyond. Your engineering skills can be part of it!
*Candidates located reasonably close to the M4 Bristol – Swindon corridor and relocators are welcome to apply (including those graduating soon) *
£30,000 - £40,000 guaranteed basic plus future bonus scheme – expensed customer facing travel where needed
Our client is a well regarded supplier of battery systems, performance analysers and back up systems in the commercial sector. This business is growing rapidly and requires a product manager where you will own a product from conception to launch and beyond. In your day to day job you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally whilst personally being involved in the design, testing and manufacture of your product.
On top of all of this, our client will be paying for you to join a professional training programme where you will benefit both from a personal coach and training to help you engage with customers, suppliers and colleagues effectively . This means that you don’t have to have previous industry experience. You do need to be a great engineer with true confidence in your ability to deliver and a laser focused drive to be successful!
*Your extensive role will focus on three key areas*
* Work closely with partners both externally and internally
* Hands on development of a new product to add to an extensive range
* Be able and ready to help take your product to the market
*The Ideal Candidate *
* Any electronics/electrical engineer background or high quality equivalent life experience
* Can grasp technical concepts quickly
* Full driving licence
* A good listener, articulate and with good writing skills
* Interested in every aspect of the product Lifecyle from development to ultimate sales
* Previous experience not required – full training provided
