Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds? Cherrystone Nursery, a warm and dedicated day nursery and preschool located in the heart of Stoneleigh, Surrey, is looking for a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team!

At Cherrystone Nursery, we cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our exciting garden refurbishment has created two large, age-specific outdoor spaces for 0-2s and 2-5s, featuring:

• A brand new climbing frame
• A growing patch
• A wendy house
• A creative art area to inspire exploration and play

Inside, children enjoy five spacious rooms designed to spark curiosity and support every stage of development. With convenient onsite parking and excellent transport links, we provide an accessible, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and secure environment.
• Observe, assess, and plan stimulating early years activities tailored to each child's learning and development.
• Engage as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to develop new skills.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
• Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety matters to management.
• Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• A full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification (essential)
• Fluency in written and spoken English (essential)
• Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years (desirable)
• Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (desirable)

This is a full-time position requiring 30 hours per week, with shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Please note that this is a year-round role, as our nursery operates throughout the year.
