Salary: Up to £37,500 plus an SEN allowance of £2,679

Contract: Full-time, term time only

As we expand to accommodate growing pupil numbers in our Lower School (ages 7-13), we invite you to be part of this exciting journey. With class sizes capped at 6 pupils, each classroom is supported by a qualified teacher and up to 2 teaching assistants, ensuring personalized attention for every child.

As a Secondary Science GCSE Class Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Support the class team in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors.
• Monitor pupil progress and collaborate with staff to meet individual needs.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips.
• Build positive relationships that enhance learning outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree-level education
• Experience teaching GCSE Science at the secondary level
• Experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Strong behavior management skills
• A commitment to ongoing professional development
• A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
