SEO and Paid Search Specialist
to join our Marketing team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Marketing, Development and Project Management teams in website content strategy and entry, as well as supporting our many SEO clients. This is a great job for someone with a few years of experience in a digital marketing agency who is looking to ultimately transition into a Digital Strategist role within our marketing department in a few years. Responsibilities Upload and enter site content including imagery, files and text in various Content Management Systems (Kentico, Umbraco, etc.), while raising concerns and recommending alternate content modeling strategies as needed. Work with the marketing and project management teams to support the content strategy and user experience best practices for the website Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure content is being entered accurately and thoughtfully Understand and follow website ADA conformance best practices Edit basic web content within a CMS (training is provided) Escalate content strategy or user experience concerns Support multiple projects through internal collaboration Prioritize requests from different teams and execute accordingly Provide ongoing SEO services for a variety of clients (mostly financial services) on a project and ongoing basis Requirements Interest in a career in digital marketing BA/BS degree in marketing or communications (or equivalent) Appreciation for UX and web content best practices Strong business writing and editing skills Knowledge of the Microsoft suite Knowledge of best practices for web creative Ability to recognize and report issues to other teammates Experience with using Content Management Systems a plus Experience supporting standard SEO tactics (keyword research, meta tags, content optimization, technical SEO) Experience in all of the above-listed qualifications is not required. However, we seek a candidate well versed within various digital channels, eager to learn and with a desire to grow in a digital agency setting.
