Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated Healthcare & Medical Services team in Jackson. As a key member of our specialized hand therapy and rehabilitation practice, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that supports patients through recovery and functional restoration. In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans focused on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation as well as general orthopedic and post-surgical conditions. You will guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, functional training, and the safe use of therapy equipment and modalities. You will monitor patient response, document progress accurately and timely in our electronic medical record system, and communicate observations and recommendations to the supervising Physical Therapist to help refine and advance the plan of care. You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced therapists who are committed to personalized, patient-centered care. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, reviewing treatment goals with patients, reinforcing home exercise programs, educating patients and families on proper technique and self-care, and maintaining strict adherence to infection control, safety, and ethical standards. You will actively contribute to a supportive, learning-focused environment that values professional growth, open communication, and shared problem-solving. This position is ideal for a PTA who is motivated to deepen their skills in hand therapy and outpatient orthopedics, enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships, and thrives in a collaborative, community-oriented practice. You will have the opportunity to learn from seasoned clinicians, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and patient experience. Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming offers a stable, full-time opportunity with a consistent schedule in a field/on-site clinical setting. We are committed to supporting your professional development while you help our patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement savings options, are available for qualified candidates.
