We are looking to recruit an experienced Syspro ERP Consultant to join the team of dedicated staff in order to continue providing excellent ERP consultancy resource to our customers.

Staff work remotely with a mix of home-working and client site engagements. We also have an office near Leicester where staff are welcome to work and we hold team meetings there periodically.
*Job Summary*
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Syspro ERP Consultant plays a vital role in delivering high-quality consultancy services to customers, supporting them in solving complex business process challenges through the installation, implementation, configuration, upgrade and optimisation of Syspro ERP environments.
The role includes project delivery, implementation, configuration, process consultancy, second-line support, customer training and collaboration across internal teams.
The role involves understanding issues in manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, MRP and finance and applying both business process and technical solutions to those issues. The role will also involve project management activities.
*Role Detail*
Consultancy & Implementation:
* Deliver expert Syspro ERP consultancy services both remotely and onsite
* Design and implement ERP configurations to meet customer business needs
* Recommend and apply improvements to business processes and system settings
* Deliver ERP implementation projects, from requirements gathering through to go-live and handover
* Support ERP upgrades and module rollouts for existing customers
Project Delivery & Collaboration:
* Act as project lead on assigned ERP implementation and enhancement projects
* Collaborate with internal teams and other consultants to deliver joint projects
* Produce high-quality project, technical and handover documentation
* Manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Support & Data Management:
* Provide expert second-line support to Syspro ERP users
* Import and manipulate data using Syspro and SQL tools and techniques
* Support end users with training, demos and documentation to aid system adoption
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
* Build strong, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders
* Maintain on-going communication to ensure satisfaction and service quality
* Understand customers’ operational goals and help them maximise ERP value
*Person Specification*
Essential Experience:
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on Syspro ERP implementation experience, including installation, configuration, module setup and system upgrades
* Demonstrable experience delivering full lifecycle Syspro projects, from requirements gathering and system configuration through to go-live and post-implementation support
* Practical experience installing Syspro environments (on-premise and/or cloud), applying hotfixes and performing version upgrades
* Minimum 2 years of ERP consultancy and/or support experience
* Demonstrable experience supporting manufacturing or distribution business processes
Essential Skills:
* Strong working knowledge of Syspro architecture, installation processes, system configuration, company setup, module configuration and upgrade procedures
* Proven skills configuring and deploying Syspro environments, including application servers, SQL databases and client installations
* Moderate knowledge of SQL Server administration and SQL query language
* Basic understanding of UK finance processes and terminology
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Logical and process-oriented thinking
* Self-motivated
* Ability to think laterally and logically under pressure
* Ability to plan and organise own workload effectively
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Qualifications:
* Full UK (or equivalent acceptable) driving licence (travel to customer sites required)

* Relevant ERP, IT or business-related certifications

£45,000 to £55,000pa depending on experience and existing skills.
