Essential Job Function
- Oversees the work of employees, including nurses and support staff to uphold quality standards.
- Reviews the analysis of patient data, including laboratory results, diagnostic tests, and progress notes, to ensure accurate and comprehensive assessment of patients' conditions.
- Provides guidance, support, and mentorship to employees, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Offers advice and insights, including best practices, and innovative approaches, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
- Participates and functions in the procedure rooms to provide care and collaborate with the Invasive Team.
- Performs administrative duties including scheduling procedures, maintaining regulatory standards, ensures equipment readiness and reliability, optimizes workflow in the department to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Must hold one of the following: Graduate from one or more of the following programs required: Nursing, Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, a sanctioned Cardiovascular Technology Program, or a credentialed Paramedic Program in NCPreferred: Bachelors Degree
Experience
- Required: 2 years Interventional Cardiovascular Experience
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: RCIS or RCESBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider. American Red Cross or AHA ACLS
