Your Role:

As a Shift Supervisor , you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run seamlessly. You’ll be at the forefront of maintaining efficiency and quality, leading a team that thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Note: This position operates on a 2-cycle shift pattern over 5 days (Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00) and offers a competitive salary along with an additional shift pay of £273 per month .

What You’ll Do:
  • IWS & Standardized Work: Execute processes as per standards, challenge inefficiencies, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Loss Identification: Drive continuous improvement in the receiving area and actively participate in loss elimination initiatives.
  • Fundamentals Ownership: Ensure perfect execution of safety, quality, and internal controls, documenting any outages.
  • Business Results Ownership: Take charge of specific areas, ensuring smooth shift transitions and maintaining cleaning standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure timely delivery of daily business objectives.
  • Leadership: Act as the fundamentals results owner for your shift, completing safety and quality alerts promptly.
  • Team Management: Conduct monthly 1:1s and quarterly reviews, coaching your team to achieve their goals.

  • FLT Qualification and IOSH Training .
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to eliminate non-value-added work.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Capability to understand business needs and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership: Strong personal accountability and team leadership skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills for engaging with team members and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP/TMS/Maestro or similar systems, and solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Personal Accountability: A proactive approach to personal development and contributions to safety initiatives.
